That Something works with circular economy modelling, realising cultural value, purpose-driven business, co-creating cities, sustainable entrepreneurship and neighbourhood futures.
We work internationally and across sectors and bring in that broad experience catalogue to often complex change processes, where whole companies, organisations or neighbourhoods are under transformation.
As a gathering factor, we always look to identify and unleash potential. For that, we tailor a process for co-creation with the client or project team, which generally takes us through four phases:
Foresight is the art of taking a step back and mapping future prospects. Through foresight we can build an educated conversation about the inevitably unknown - the future.
This can be a part of a project or a large organisation, city or business, and foresight serves to challenge the status quo, expand the horizon of possibility and is often utilised as basis for decision-making on big changes.
Insights is our discovery method, that enables focus on desirability from the outset. Desirability seen both from the individual and the wider good.
Insights are a gathering of knowledge comprising both qualitative onsite- and quantivative desk- research. Thus, we reach insights that are detailed and context specific, yet cross-validate with those that take the bigger picture into account. Together with foresight, insights build a foundation for creating scenarios and solutions.
We work with scenarios to lay out a potpourri of alternative futures, then building an informed conversation and chosing a desired strategy collectively.
The scenarios build on the insights and foresights, but are developed various directions to play through and understand very different potential they unleash. Our scenarios span from a minor alteration to the current modus operandi to the near impossible - with the mantra get what you need – not what you expect.
We do not leave our clients with a bunch of good ideas and a report. On the contrary, we enjoy the involvement with the little devilish details of realisation.
This can be in the level of reviewing, advising or more detailed realisation support, for example co-manage in a startup phase, coach and support the people who drive change, troubleshoot and develop or ”check in” at interval.
How deeply we are involved in the realisation depends on project needs and client wishes.
